Electroencephalography (EEG)
Our hospital provides advanced EEG testing to monitor brain activity and assist in the diagnosis of various neurological conditions. The test is painless, safe, and typically takes 30–60 minutes.
EEG is Used to Diagnose:
- Epilepsy and seizure disorders
- Unexplained fainting or blackouts
- Sleep disorders
- Brain infections or inflammation (encephalitis)
- Head injuries or tumors
- Monitoring brain function in coma or after stroke
Small electrodes are placed on the scalp to record brain wave patterns while you rest or sleep.
